The words 'drugs' and 'violence' cross many people's mind when thinking about Colombia, and in particular Medellin. Popular television series like Narcos have strongly contributed to this image. However, this (mis)conception does not correspond to the contemporary daily life in Medellin. The 2.5-million people counting city has transformed into a calm and well organized metropolis.
